What you can expect
We'll start with a 45- 60 minute session to allow for us to get to know one another and to touch on your current lifestyle and how food relates to any struggles or concerns you have when it comes to eating.
When assessing your current health and wellness, I will take into account the following:
Age and gender
Work Pattern and Daily Routine
Food and Nutrient Needs
Family and Lifestyle
Cultural Needs and Religious Beliefs Pertaining to Food Restrictions
Your Body Size (frame, composition, muscle and fat distribution)
Mental Well being
Clinical Symptoms and Conditions
Personal preferences for Taste
Ability to Prepare Meals and Snacks
Existing Medications and Supplement Use
In addition, this session will reveal the intertwining effects of unbalanced nutrition, fitness, rest and stress management. After discussing your past and present relationship with food, nutrition and eating, we'll come up with a big picture plan for the future. It is in this portion of the assessment that we will identify the areas of most concern and set realistic and attainable goals to achieve and move past them.
We will use the goals and strategies from the initial session to move forward with the follow up session. It is at this time that our team of dietitians will introduce new strategies to help you overcome your ongoing wellness challenge or modify existing strategies to help you work through new struggles and barriers.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions a client needs depends completely on their ability to remain accountable, motivated and willing to learn and change for the better. If you have questions, this can be discussed during the initial consultation or free 15 minute phone consultation. You may purchase follow up sessions in packages, which include discounted follow-up sessions.
If your insurance covers part of a package you can receive the rest of the package at a discounted price.

Happy Body Wellness providers are in network with United Healthcare, Cigna, Aetna, Anthem BCBS (Optima coming soon).
At this time we do not accept any Medicare or Medicaid plans.
Insurance may cover your visits but we cannot guarantee coverage until your claim is processed through our own in-house billing department.
Please check your plan for coverage by contacting them prior to your appointment and asking if your plan covers the following and how many visits you are approved to have per year.
