Yes, Happy Body Wellness is actively expanding its insurance network.You can reach out to request that your plan be added, but due to limitations with some insurance carriers, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to become in-network with every plan.

I qualify for Medicare coverage. How does the referral process work?

The Happy Body Wellness Guarantee is our commitment to providing a no-surprise billing experience.If your appointment is denied by insurance, you won’t be charged for appointments that have already occurred.If your appointment has a copay or coinsurance, you will not be charged more than your initial estimate for appointments that have already taken place until your actual cost is confirmed.If your appointment goes toward your deductible, our team will help explain your options for past and future appointments.Important: I would only use this FAQ if Happy Body actually offers the same billing guarantee as Nourish.

Many patients may have nutrition counseling covered by their insurance plan.Coverage depends on your specific insurance policy, diagnosis and benefits. We recommend contacting the member services number on the back of your insurance card to verify coverage for Medical Nutrition Therapy before your first appointment.Happy Body Wellness will also help guide you through the insurance and billing process.

Yes, Happy Body Wellness accepts Medicare.Medicare covers many disgnosis for Medical Nutrition Therapy including (but not limited to) the following medical conditions:Diabetes — Type 1 or Type 2Chronic kidney disease — stage 3 or higherPost-kidney transplant within the last 36 monthsOther diagnoses, including pre-diabetes, may not qualify for Medicare coverage, but it's always worth it to inquire.

Are there any other fees to use Happy Body Wellness?

Accepted Answer

There are no additional membership or platform fees to use Happy Body Wellness.However, you are responsible for any copay, coinsurance, deductible or other patient responsibility determined by your individual insurance plan.

Yes! You are welcome to use HSA or FSA funds to pay for eligible Happy Body Wellness services.

A credit card on file may be required to cover any potential patient responsibility amounts, including copays, coinsurance, deductible amounts or applicable cancellation/no-show fees after your insurance processes the claim.You will be notified before any applicable charge is processed.Use this only if Happy Body actually requires a card on file.

If your insurance denies a claim, Happy Body Wellness will review the denial and, where appropriate, work with the insurance provider to understand the reason and determine whether the claim can be reviewed or reprocessed.If your insurance plan ultimately does not cover the service, our team will contact you to discuss your options for future appointments.
