Having a Ball! Healthy Energy Bites

The HBW Dietitians got to spread their nutrition knowledge and share some healthy samples of our favorite protein-packed energy ball recipes at a Healthy Lifestyles Expo today. Below are the recipes!

Vanilla Peanut Butter Protein

2/3 cup old fashion rolled oats

1/2 cup creamy natural peanut butter

1/4 cup natural vanilla whey protein powder

1 Tbsp. Agave Nectar

2 Tbsp. dark chocolate chips

Cinnamon Vanilla Protein Bites

1 Tbsp ground cinnamon

1/4 cup natural vanilla whey protein powder

1/4 cup honey

1/2 cup almond meal

1/4 cup natural nut butter

3/4 cup old fashion rolled oats

Vanilla extract to taste

Dark Cocoa Chia-Date

2 cups old fashion rolled oats

1 cup pitted Medjool dates

3/4 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup smooth natural peanut butter

1/2 cup salted peanuts

1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

2-3 Tbsp Honey, Maple Syrup or Agave Nectar

1 Tbsp coconut oil

Cranberry Coconut Hemp Oat

1/2 cup natural nut butter

2 Tbsp extra virgin coconut oil, melted

2 Tbsp honey

1 tsp vanilla extract

3/4 cup old fashion rolled oats

1/3 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

1/3 cup dried cranberries

2 scoops natural vanilla whey protein powder

3 Tbsp hemp protein powder

2 Tbsp chia seeds

1 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp nutmeg

3-4 Tbsp unsweetened vanilla cashew milk
